The Firewalla Extended Warranty Plan is designed to provide comprehensive, worry-free extended coverage for your Firewalla box or AP7. 

  • This warranty is only available to orders purchased directly from Firewalla.com and shipped to the USA.
  • Only boxes that are currently within the one year manufacturer warranty are eligible for an Extended Warranty license.
  • The extended warranty license will be sent in a separate email to the email used to place the purchase. The email containing the license will come from the sender name Firewalla and email address no-reply@edp-cdn.net.
  • You have 30 days to pair/activate the license with your box to receive the full additional three years; otherwise, the warranty period will be prorated. See the Extended Warranty Pairing Guide.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Available with Firewalla Gold SE, Gold Plus, Gold Pro, or AP7 Desktop or AP7 Ceiling 
  • The Firewalla unit must be purchased directly from firewalla.com.
  • The plan must be purchased and paired with while your box is still under the original one-year manufacturer's warranty.
  • You can cancel the plan and receive a full refund within 30 days of purchase, provided the license has not been paired with and/or a claim has not been filed.

FAQ:

How do I file a claim?

To file a claim, email help@firewalla.com with your device serial number, device order number, and extended warranty order number. Please provide a description of the issue you are experiencing, and our support team will assist you.


What happens after I file a claim?

Our support team will check the validity of the extended warranty. If the issue is determined to be hardware related, an RMA will be provided to get the unit back.  An Advanced Replacement will be sent following the issue of the RMA and return label. We may require a credit card security hold of the retail value and shipping amount prior to shipping out a replacement.


What components are covered under the extended warranty?

Your Firewalla box or AP7, as well as any accessories and power supply that came originally in the product box are covered.

 

How do I cancel my extended warranty purchase?

Email help@firewalla.com with your extended warranty order number. If the cancellation request was made within 30 days of purchase, and the license is unpaired and no previous claim was made for this license, we will cancel this license and provide a refund.


What happens if my extended warranty license is not paired after 30 days?

After 30 days, our system may automatically assign the unused license to an eligible box.

What happens if I sell my Firewalla box/AP7?

The Extended Warranty license is not transferable, and will not transfer over to a new owner.


How do I check if my order to see if my box is eligible for extended warranty?

To find the initial order date, you can check the order confirmation email you received for your box or AP7 purchase, or log into firewalla.com and check your order history for the purchase date. If you're unable to find your order, send am email to help@firewalla.com and we can try to find the order for you.
